- Set up the charcoal on one side of your grill for direct heat.
- Wrap the garlic head in the tinfoil with a little drizzle of oil then leave beside the coals until soft.
- Meanwhile, set a BBQ-safe pan over the direct heat and cook the onions until golden. When the garlic is soft, squeeze into the pan and combine with the onions.
- Add the butter, and once melted, take off the heat and set aside.
- For the sauce, mix all the ingredients together until fully combined.
- Sear the sliders over the direct heat for 2 mins each side, then move the sliders away from the direct heat, add a spoon of the onions and top with the cheese.
- Close the lid of the BBQ until the cheese melts.
- Toast the buns and spread with the sauce, top with the shredded lettuce then place a slider on top. Add some more sauce to the lid of the bun then sandwich together and enjoy!
