Set up the charcoal on one side of your grill for direct heat.
Wrap the garlic head in the tinfoil with a little drizzle of oil then leave beside the coals until soft.
Meanwhile, set a BBQ-safe pan over the direct heat and cook the onions until golden. When the garlic is soft, squeeze into the pan and combine with the onions.
Add the butter, and once melted, take off the heat and set aside.
For the sauce, mix all the ingredients together until fully combined.
Sear the sliders over the direct heat for 2 mins each side, then move the sliders away from the direct heat, add a spoon of the onions and top with the cheese.
Close the lid of the BBQ until the cheese melts.
Toast the buns and spread with the sauce, top with the shredded lettuce then place a slider on top. Add some more sauce to the lid of the bun then sandwich together and enjoy!
