‘Perfect for parties’ Prosecco and pomegranate jellies

  1. To create this festive fun party treat, add 5 gelatine leaves to a small bowl of cold water for 5 minutes, until completely softened.
  2. While the gelatine is softening, add 50g of caster sugar to a small saucepan with 3tbsp of water. Heat slowly, until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Once the gelatine has softened, squeeze out any excess water and stir into your warm, sugar water mixture. Wait until dissolved and remove from the heat.
  4. Then the fun bit – pour 400ml of Prosecco and 80g of pomegranate seeds. Make sure it’s mixed well before carefully pouring into champagne flutes or small glasses (about 200ml capacity each).
  5. Leave for around 4-5 hours or until fully set – serve and enjoy!
  6. Tip: Make up to 24 hours in advance and keep in the fridge so their ready for your guests when they arrive.
