Preparation and Usage
Cooking Time: 10-14 mins.
Method: Oven
You will need: 500g Pizza base mix; 350g warm water.
Method:
1.Place the pizza mix and luke warm water into a mixing bowl.
2.Using a mixer with a dough hook, mix for 8 minutes (or knead by hand for 10 minutes) until a smooth dough is formed.
3.Place the dough into an oiled bowl, cover and leave in a warm place until doubled in size.
4.Place the dough onto a floured surface and divide into two pieces.
5.Stretch or roll out the dough pieces to approx. 20-25cm pizza bases.
6.Place onto a baking tray and top with your favourite pizza toppings.
7.Place into pre heated oven and bake for 240°C /220°C Fan / Gas 9 10–14 minutes until the pizza crust is golden brown.
WHY NOT TRY:
Why not try a calzone? Simply add your toppings to half of the pizza base, fold in half pinching at the edge and bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
Bread Machine Method:
Add the bread mix and water according to your bread machine's manufacturer guidelines.
Refer to manufacturers guidelines to confirm the capacity and mix on basic dough setting to scale and bake as per instructions above.
