Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in the fridge. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.

Cooking Instructions

Instructions: Remove all packaging and allow steaks to rest for 10 minutes at room temperature before cooking. For best results pan fry.CautionThis product contains raw meat. Always wash hands, surfaces and utensils after contact with raw meat.ImportantTesco recommends that meat products are cooked thoroughly. If cooked rare there is a small risk that harmful bacteria may be present. Not suitable for microwave cooking. Not suitable for cooking from frozen.

Shallow Fry

Instructions: 1-2 mins.Add a little oil to a heavy based frying pan and heat to a high setting. Place the steaks in the pan. Cook for 1 minute (rare). 1 1/2 minutes (medium) or 2 minutes (well done), turning occasionally. Remove steaks from the pan and allow to rest in a warm place for 1-2 minutes before serving.

Grill

Instructions: 2-4 mins.Place the steaks under a pre-heated high grill. Cook for 2 minutes (rare), 3 minutes (medium) or 4 minutes (well done), turning occasionally. Remove steaks from the grill and allow to rest in a warm place for 1-2 minutes before serving.

Barbecue

Instructions: 2 minsFor a chargrilled barbecue effect. Cook as per cooking guidelines above then place on the barbecue for a further 2 minutes, turning frequently.
