Oven cook

Instructions: This packaging is not ovenable and must be removed prior to cooking200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas 6, 45mins per kg, 30mins extraAll application may vary. The following are guidelines only. Preheat oven. Place chicken in a roasting tin and cook in the centre of the oven for approximately 45 minutes per kg plus 30 minutes extra, basting occasionally. Allow chicken to stand in a warm place for 5-10 minutes prior to serving. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked before serving. To check if product is cooked insert a skewer into the deepest part of the chicken. If product is cooked the juices will run clear. If not continue to cook and repeat check as required. Not suitable for microwave cooking. Not suitable for cooking from frozen.

Storage

Keep refrigerated below 4°C. Once opened use immediately. Do not exceed the use by date. Use by: see front of pack.Suitable for home freezing. Ideally freeze on day of purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Use within one month of freezing. Defrost thoroughly in the refrigerator prior to cooking. Do not refreeze once thawed. Use within 24 hours of defrosting.
