Preparation and Usage
Christmas Roast Turkey.
Cooking Time: 1 hr 30mins - 2hrs
Method: Oven
Ingredients: 4tbsp vegetable oil; Tesco Turkey Seasoning; whole turkey (4.5-6 kg).
Method:
- Pre-heat the oven to 200°C /Fan 180°C /Gas 6.
- Line a baking tray and place the turkey 4.5-6kg onto the tray.
3. Mix 4tbsp vegetable oil and Tesco Turkey Seasoning together, cover the turkey with the seasoning mixture.
4. Create a foil tent over the turkey, making sure the foil doesn't touch the turkey, then carefully place in the pre-heated oven and cook as per turkey cooking instructions.
5. 30 minutes before the end of cooking, remove the foil tent to allow the turkey to brown.
6. At the end of cooking, carefully remove the turkey from the oven, turkey is cooked if the juices run clear when the deepest part of the turkey breast and leg are pierced with a thin skewer.
