Preparation and Usage

Remove joint from outer bag.

For best results boil.

Oven

Instructions: Temperature: 190, 170, 5Time: 3 hours 30 minutesOVEN Chilled: 3hrs 20mins. Pre-heat oven to 190°C/Fan 170°C/Gas 5. Remove casing and place the joint on a roasting tray. Cover with foil and place into the centre of the pre-heated oven. Remove foil for the last 30 minutes of cooking. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before carving

Hob

Instructions: HOB Chilled: 2hrs 40mins.Place joint in a pot and cover with fresh cold water. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and cover. Simmer gently for 2 hours 40 minutes. Remove cooked joint from water and allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving. Remove outer casing before carving

Storage

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 27 hours in the fridge. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.
