This appellation produces exclusively red wines and all varietals from Bordeaux region can be used but Merlot is predominant.Notes: Dark berry colour. Elegant aromas of ripe red fruit. Supple tannins and round mouth, notes of soft spices and truffle.

Boasting a fairly homogeneous soil of sandstone or limestone , relatively close to the North of the appellation Saint Emilion, the wines of Saint Emilion Satellites have a texture that is reminiscent of that of their illustrious neighbours.
