Preparation and Usage

Beef Madras.

Serves 4

Method: Oven or Hob.

Cooking time:

Hob 22-23 mins

Oven 1hr 2mins - 1hr 30 mins

Method: Oven

1. Pre-heat the oven to 190°C/Fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5.

2. Heat 15ml (1tbsp) of oil in a pan, add 400g diced beef.

3. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until lightly brown.

4. Place in an ovenproof dish, stir in the contents of this jar and cover.

5. Place in the centre of the pre-heated oven and cook for 1 hour - 1 hour 30 minutes until the meat is tender.

 

Hob

1. Heat 15ml (1tbsp) of oil in a pan, add 400g sliced minute steak.

2. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until lightly brown.

3. Add the contents of this jar and stir thoroughly.

4. Cover pan and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the meat is thoroughly cooked, stirring occasionally.
