Every €2.50 in Clubcard vouchers = 600 Avios with AerClub
You can use your Avios in lots of ways on aerlingus.com, from saving on your flights, booking Reward Flights, enjoying Business Class upgrades and more.
What you need to know
To turn your Clubcard vouchers into Avios, you’ll need to be an AerClub member. You’ll need your 16-digit AerClub membership number which you can find in your AerClub app, website, or any AerClub emails.
Your order details will be passed to Avios (IAG Loyalty) who will credit these to your account within seconds.

There are three ways to turn your Clubcard vouchers into Avios:
- You can manually turn your Clubcard vouchers into Avios in increments of €2.50 and add to your basket above. Every €2.50 in Clubcard vouchers = 600 Avios. Any change left over from your Clubcard vouchers will be added back to your Clubcard Account, eg: if you exchange a €3 Clubcard voucher, you will receive 600 Avios and 50c back in change to your Clubcard account. See “How it works” to exchange your Clubcard vouchers into Avios.
or
- You can automatically choose (Auto opt-in) to turn your Clubcard points into Avios every statement. For Auto opt-in the minimum transaction is 250 (i.e. €2.50 in value) giving you 600 Avios. Any points thereafter will be in increments of 50 points or 120 Avios. For example: 300 Clubcard points = 720 Avios, 350 = 840 and so on.
- You can get Avios instantly by exchanging in-between Clubcard statements from a minimum of 150 Clubcard points = 360 Avios. Available to members who have set up Auto opt-in only (see 2 above).
If your request is successful but you can’t see your exchanged Clubcard points for Avios check your AerClub account. If you're not already a member, sign up to AerClub, the loyalty program of Aer Lingus where you can collect and spend Avios. See ‘Terms and conditions’ to find out more.

To convert your Clubcard vouchers into Avios, you must be a Clubcard member and a member of AerClub.
Please note: Only valid Clubcard vouchers (printed with the name of the Clubcard holder making the booking, and that matches with name showing on the Clubcard Statement mailings and entitled ‘voucher') can be turned into Avios.
Bookings can only be made by the Clubcard member.
Vouchers may be pooled but only by members with accounts registered with Clubcard at the same postal address.
Vouchers must be in date and not sold, damaged, defaced, copied, altered or redeemed.
Top up vouchers and Bonus vouchers cannot be used with our Clubcard Reward Partners.
Aer Lingus flights are subject to the payment of applicable taxes, charges, fees and surcharges. The exact amount will be advised at the time of booking via the AerClub website.
Please choose carefully, Clubcard vouchers cannot be transferred back to your Clubcard account once turned into Avios and credited to your AerClub account.
AerClub membership number has 16 digits. Please make sure that you key in the correct membership number as it cannot be reversed afterwards.
The usual Tesco.ie and Clubcard Rewards terms and conditions apply.
Christmas Savers top up and bonus vouchers cannot be exchanged for Reward Partners.
How it works
- Select the amount of Clubcard vouchers you would like to spend in increments of €2.50 using the basket above. Any change left over from your Clubcard vouchers will be added back into your Clubcard Account.
- Input your 16-digit AerClub membership.
- When you’ve completed your order, we will send confirmation that your order has been placed by email. The Avios will be added to your AerClub account within seconds.
- Log in to your AerClub account to see your new Avios balance.
If your request is unsuccessful, check your AerClub number is correct by signing into your AerClub account. Then go back to your Clubcard booking page and enter again. If your AerClub number matches and you still receive an error, contact us for help.

You can Auto opt-in and we’ll change your points to Avios for you!
To have your Clubcard points automatically exchanged into Avios (Auto opt-in):
- Go to ‘Clubcard Account’ at the top of this page and click 'Voucher schemes'.
- On the 'Voucher schemes' page, select “Aer Lingus" and input your AerClub membership number.
Your Clubcard points will be converted into Avios, 3 times a year, from your next Clubcard statement which we’ll email to you.

You can request your points be exchanged for Avios in-between statements.
If you’ve opted in to Aer Lingus and don’t want to wait for your next Clubcard Statement, you can turn your points into Avios instantly.
You will need a minimum of 150 Clubcard points to get 360 Avios, and thereafter the points are exchanged in denominations of 50 Clubcard points to earn 120 Avios.
- Sign in to your Clubcard account here.
- In the 'My points' section choose 'Request Avios with Aerclub'.
- You will be taken to the confirmation page. To proceed, click on 'Request Avios with Aerclub’.
