Cooking Instructions

Instructions: Remove all packaging. Allow steaks to rest for 10 minutes at room temperature before cooking.CautionThis product contains raw meat. To avoid cross contamination, do not wash raw meat, and always wash hands after touching. Use separate chopping boards and utensils for raw meat and ready to eat foods.ImportantNot suitable for microwave cooking. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Cook thoroughly until steaming hot throughout and there is no raw meat inside and juices run clear. Check food is steaming hot throughout before serving.

Shallow Fry

Instructions: 1-2 mins. Add a little oil to a heavy based frying pan and heat to a high setting. Place the steaks in the pan. Cook for up to 1 minute each side. Remove steaks from the pan and allow to rest in a warm place for 1-2 minutes before serving.

Barbecue

Instructions: 1-2 mins. For a chargrilled barbecue effect, cook as per cooking guidelines above, then place on the barbecue for a further 1-2 minutes, turning frequently. Allow to rest in a warm place for 2 minutes before serving.

Storage

Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by' date shown. Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by ‘use by' date shown. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Follow the preparation guidelines above.
