We slow cure Quality Assured local pork using our own tried and tested recipe. With minimum salt used and ample time given to cure and firm, the result is an excellent meaty bacon with very little shrinkage!

Preparation and Usage

PreparationAlways wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after handling raw meat.

Instructions: All appliances vary, these are guidelines only.Ensure food is piping hot before serving.Roast in the bag as easy as 1,2,31. Remove outer packagingRemove outer sleeve and film lid from tray. The bag should remain in the tray.2. Place in ovenPlace the tray, including the bag, into a preheated oven at 180°C. Roast for approximately 50 minutes until fully cooked.3. Cut bag and serveRemove tray from the oven. Carefully cut open the bag and remove the joint. Pour any remaining sauce from the bag over the joint. Leave standing for 10 minutes before serving.

Storage

Keep refrigerated between 0°C to 5°C. Do not exceed the use by date. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 48 hours. Suitable for home freezing. If freezing, freeze on the day of purchase. Use within three months of freezing. Defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before cooking. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
