Contains: Titanium Dioxide (E171), Iron Oxide Yellow (E172), Iron Oxide Black (E172) and Iron Oxide Red (E172)

Preparation and Usage

Indications:The product is a broad spectrum anthelmintic for use in puppies and adult dogs for the treatment of infection by adult intestinal nematodes or cestodes of the following species: Nematodes: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria Stenocephala. Cestodes: Taenia hydatigena, Taenia pisiformis, Dipylidium caninum.Dosage:For oral administration. The dose of Troscan® 100 for the treatment of small dogs and puppies is 1 x 100 mg tablet per 2 kg bodyweight. The dosing program should be established with the veterinary surgeon.Follow the dosage chart below:Dog's Weight: Up to 2 kg, Example Breed: Chihuahua, Number of Tablets: OneDog's Weight: 2.1 - 4 kg, Example Breed: Miniature Dachshund, Number of Tablets: TwoDog's Weight: 4.1 - 6 kg, Example Breed: Miniature Poodle, Number of Tablets: ThreeDog's Weight: 6.1 - 8 kg, Example Breed: West Highland Terrier, Number of Tablets: FourFor dogs weighing more than 8 kg use Troscan® 500 mg for adult dogs.Read the package leaflet before use.

Do not use in puppies of less than 3 weeks of age.Special precautions for use:The product should be administered orally in the morning after overnight fasting with approximately one-fifth of the daily food ration. The remaining food ration should be withheld for at least 8 hours. The product is not indicated for the treatment of Trichuris vulpis and gives only a limited level of control of Echinococcus granulosus.Since the most common tapeworm of the dog (Dipylidium caninum) is transmitted by a flea and has a very short pre-patent period, it is important to pay attention to flea control to reduce the incidence of tapeworm in your pet.For animal treatment only.Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
