Certified Irish Angus dry aged beef ribeye joint with a pomegranate molasses and honey sauce sachet.Sourced exclusively from Certified Irish Angus cattle, this ribeye joint has been dry aged on the bone for a minimum of 21 days for a rich flavour and matured for a minimum of 32 days in total for extra tenderness. An ideal roasting joint for your special occasion. Enhance the experience by heating the accompanying pomegranate molasses and honey sauce and after allowing the delicious roasting joint to rest for 15 minutes, pour it over thinly cut slices of beef and enjoy a fine dining experience in the comfort of your own home.

Cooking Instructions

Instructions: CautionThis product contains raw meat. If cooked rare there is a small risk that harmful bacteria may be present. Always wash hands, surfaces and utensils after contact with raw meat.ImportantNot suitable for microwave cooking. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. All appliances vary, these are guidelines only. Tesco recommends that meat products are cooked thoroughly.

Oven cook

Instructions: - Remove beef from packaging, discarding absorbent pad.- Allow beef to rest for 30 minutes at room temperature before roasting.- Remove sachet and set aside until required.200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6, 45 mins 1 hr 5 mins- Brush a little oil onto the surface of the joint and brown on all sides in a hot pan.- Place the joint on a roasting tray and place into the centre of a pre-heated oven for 45 minutes (rare), 55 minutes (medium) or 1 hour 5 minutes (well done), basting occasionally during cooking.- Transfer the joint from the roasting tray to a clean board to rest in a warm place for 15 minutes before carving.

Hob

Instructions: 3-5 mins- To heat the sauce, empty contents into a small saucepan and gently heat for 3-5 minutes. Do not allow to boil.- Pour sauce over the joint and serve.

Storage

Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by 'use by' date shown.Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by date shown. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze.
