Preparation and Usage

Remove all packaging, discarding absorbent pad.Allow meat to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before roasting.180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas 4- Pre-heat oven.- Season the joint with salt and pepper and sear the fat side on a hot dry pan for 3 minutes to render the fat and then onto the underside for 2 minutes.- Add approximately 125ml of water to a roasting tray.- Place joint on the roasting tray and place into the centre of the oven.- Calculate the additional cooking time at 3 minutes per 100g (rare), 4 minutes per 100g (medium), 6 minutes per 100g (well done).- Once cooked, allow the beef to rest in a warm place for 15 minutes prior to carving.CautionAlways wash hands, surfaces and utensils after contact with raw meat.ImportantAll appliances vary, these are guidelines only. Tesco recommends that meat products are cooked thoroughly. If cooked rare there is a small risk that harmful bacteria may be present. Not suitable for microwave cooking.Not suitable for cooking from frozen.
