Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in the fridge. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 1 day and by ‘use by’ date shown.

Cooking Instructions

Instructions: - Remove all packaging and place sauce sachet to one side. After handling the sachet, wash hands thoroughly.- Allow to rest for 30 minutes at room temperature before cooking.- Lightly brush each side of the steak with a little oil.- Heat a heavy based frying pan over a high heat until smoking.- Sear each side of the steak in the hot frying pan.CautionThis product contains raw meat. Always wash hands, surfaces and utensils after contact with raw meat.ImportantAll appliances vary, these are guidelines only.Tesco recommends that meat products are cooked thoroughly. If cooked rare there is a small risk that harmful bacteria may be present. Not suitable for microwave cooking. Not suitable for cooking from frozen.

Oven cook

Instructions: 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6, 10-35 mins- Remove from pan and place on a roasting tray.- Place into the centre of a pre-heated oven for 10-15 minutes (rare), 20-25 minutes (medium) or 30-35 minutes (well done).- Transfer the steak from the roasting tray to a clean board to rest in a warm place for 15 minutes before carving.

Hob

Instructions: - To heat the sauce, empty contents into a small saucepan and heat gently for 2-3 minutes. Do not allow to boil.- Pour sauce over the steak and serve.
