Preparation and Usage
Cooking time: 14-16 minutes
Method: Oven
Makes: 6 cupcakes
You will need:
1 medium egg, 70ml (approx. 4 tbsp) water, 50g softened unsalted butter, cupcake or muffin tray.
Method:
Cupcakes:
1.Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/Fan 160°C /Gas 4.
2.Place the 6 cupcake cases into a cupcake or muffin tray.
3.Empty the cake mix sachet into a large bowl and add 1 medium egg and 4 tbsp (60ml) water and mix with an electric whisk for 1-2 minutes until combined.
4. Divide the mix equally between the cupcake cases and bake in the centre of the oven for 14-16 minutes until well risen.
5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Icing:
1. Empty the frosting mix sachet into a bowl add 50g softened unsalted butter and mix well until light and fluffy.
2. Empty the blue icing mix sachet into a bowl and add 1-2 tsp (5-10ml) cold water, mix until smooth.
3. Once cooled top the cupcakes with the blue icing, wafer eyes and frosting to create little abominable snowmen.
