After 28 years in transport, Owen left his job to pursue his passion for food and cooking. He studied at Ballymaloe cookery school where he trained by day and worked by night at Ballymaloe House. Owen and Lorna started making quiches and pies in their own kitchen, to sell at the local farmers' market while Owen was still cheffing with Kevin Dundon at Dunbrody Country House. Their son, David, joined the family business having graduated from ATU, Galway with a Bachelor of Business Honours Degree in Hotel & Catering Management."We have grown from making quality products in our own home kitchen to a state-of-the-art food production facility in Wexford, while retaining the home cooked flavours.
