This is possibly the best toaster I've ever had. It toasts the whole slice gone are the days of having to turn the bread to get it all toated. I'm going to get a second one as a spear.

This has to be the worst toaster I have ever had the misfortune to buy. It is almost impossible to get any consistency , just when you think you have cracked it ..your toast is burned.. turn down a notch , it's white, trial and error and you may get a slice toasted to a golden brown.. the next two slices will charcoal .. . useless

Generally I'm pretty happy with this. Unlike previous toasters where I had to cut the bread in half to get it in, this can happily take two full slices of bread. My only dislike is that it doesn't toast that evenly. There is quite a difference in the browning between the two slices and even on individual slices a fair difference between the sides. The stainless steel case does make it very easy to keep clean and unlike my previous (cheap) one there is no discouloration or distortion. A pretty well made toaster and in my opinion worth the money although only time will tell how durable it is long term.

I've had it for about a week. (I'm hoping that this review won't be the KISS OF DEATH for it!) So far,it's been really good - more robust than than the generic very cheap toasters I've had before,but also bulkier. It even accomodates the TESCO wholemeal loaf with the large slices.

I bought a Tesco own brand toaster very similar to this back in 2007 when I was upgrading my kitchen. It cost about £10 and was used very regularly. It has just died a death 15 years on! How amazing is that!. So guess where I will be going for my new toaster.. Well done Tesco 👍🙂
