Oven

Instructions: Temperature: -, -, -Time: -Remove beef from packaging and allow to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before roasting. Oven Rare 2 mins per 100g, medium:3 mins per 100g.Well-Done:4 mins per 100g. Pre-heat the oven to 230°C/Fan 210°C/Gas 8. Season joint with salt and pepper and place on a roasting tray, place in the centre of the pre-heated oven for 30 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 160°C/Fan 140°C/Gas 3 and open the oven door for 1 minutes to bring the temperature of the oven down. Close the door and continue to cook for calculated time. Allow the beef to rest in a warm place for 15 minutes and remove any string prior to carving. Important All appliances vary, these are guidelines only. Tesco recommends that meat products are cooked thoroughly. Not suitable for microwave cooking. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Caution Always wash hands, surfaces and utensils thoroughly after contact with raw meat. If cooked rare there is a small risk that harmful bacteria may be present. This product will contain bones.
