Brilliant for reflux
Review from Tesco
This is really good if your baby is being sick after feeds. My little boy is a big eater so we had him on the hungry baby formula but he would always be sick. (My son did have a condition called pyloric stenosis and had to have a operation to stop his throwing up the entire feed forcefully) After the op he was still being sick on the hungry baby formula even with gaviscon infant mixed in.(not related to previous condition just reflux) We switched to anti reflux and he’s not being sick and looks much happier in himself and a lot fuller for longer. The formula is thicker but that’s to help keep it down.We use fast flow teats so the hole is a bit bigger for the milk to flow through and I’ve just got into the habit of checking the teat every so often during the feed to make sure it hasn’t clogged it slightly, just a quick squeeze and it clears it again. I’ve seen previous reviews mentioned the smell. It smells the same as the other formula (non of them smell nice haha)
Brilliant! Now have a very happy & well fed baby!

Brilliant formula that definitely does its job. When my baby was on thinner formula, he was constantly sick after his feeds. With the anti reflux formula (which is a thicker consistency), he is hardly ever sick! Can’t recommend this more to mums of babies that are prone to excessive sickness after feeds. Please do not knock this formula as it is absolutely brilliant and my baby is happy and well fed.
Waste of money and effort

Doesn’t dissolve like other formulas, my baby vomits every time off this junk. Not sure how it got through food standards, yet they charge more for it?! Cows milk would probably be better for a new born
Worth the money

Where was this with my first reflux baby. Brilliant stuff, reduced the sickness loads It is a little thicker which is the point but my son loves it, and it works

Great for reflux

The review saying it’s really thick makes me laugh. Yes it’s meant to be thick, that is why it stays in their tummy. My son loves this milk, it solved all our reflux issues. It’s a little bit more complicated to make. I use a flask when out and about. Just remember to get a teat for thicker liquid.
Foul. Disgusting. Really thick.

Wanted to try something out of my daughters comfort zone as she consumes the Hungry Baby Cow and Gate milk and she suffers with really bad reflux. First of all I want to say I have never had issues before with such formula in my life and I have had no luck so far sticking out a whole night just for now to feed my baby with this disgusting, THICK, stuff until I wait until Tesco opens tomorrow to get her usual! I followed the instructions correctly and carefully and the consistently of this milk is absolutely thick! I tried watering it down and thick! thick! thick! I have took a smell of this milk and it smells foul! Bottom line, this is the worst product by cow and gate and I will never throw more money on these things that claim to aid colic or reflux because my baby is feeling sick! If your baby has a taste for a milkshake in the form of a thickening, foul, bitter feed then go ahead and get this stuff but my daughter could not get this down her.
