Good gluten free alternative
What you expect when you want fish fingers, lack of gluten didn't change expectations.
How disappointing
Review from BIRDS EYE
Ran out of my usual Coop chunky gluten free Fish fingers so thought I'd try Birds Eye as used to enjoy them before having to go gluten free was not impressed very lightly breaded fell apart when cut had 3 as a lot smaller than my 2 chunky ones and really didnt feel like I'd eaten anything very small and not very crispy or tasty. Will be stocking up on my chunky gf coop ones instead
I like them!
Review from Tesco
They are tasty! I cook these in the air fryer and they turn out crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I have them with peas and corn and cubed potatoes. They taste good to me.
Didn’t like - bland, meh and poor quality fish
Review from Tesco
First of all, I’m disappointed at the quality fish - lots of supermarket brand fish fingers contain cod but these contain Alaska pollock. Not only does it look less appealing but texture and taste wise I don’t think it’s as good either. Overall, I was very disappointed with these, tasted bland and just ‘meh’. Need more flavour and better quality fish I think. Tesco’s free from cod fish fingers on the other hand I thought were delicious! (I only tried these because Tesco’s were out of stock)
Just OK
Review from Tesco
Not haddock or cod..... just a load of pollock's! It's OK.
Not as nice as Tesco own brand crispy fish fingers
Review from Tesco
Not as nice as Tesco own brand crispy fish fingers. Please bring the Tesco brand back along with other Tesco gluten free products such as the chicken kievs. There is not much choice for Coeliacs. Tesco used to have the best range out there but sadly the products are getting less and less each month. If you want to keep your free from retailer of the year status, please take note.
over price for an average product
Review from Tesco
Pollock priced as Cod or haddock. average taste.
Tasty
Review from Tesco
Pleasantly surprised by these, I’ve been a fish finger fan for over 40 years and recently diagnosed with coeliac, I thought I’d have to give them up. I find I prefer these cooked in the oven to grilling but they taste fine either way.
Not as good as Tesco's own GF
Review from Tesco
They are no where near to the lovely own Tesco's gluten free fish fingers. These Birds Eye are tasteless as soggy. Tesco why did you removed your own brand, they were crispy and tasty, please bring them back.
Great taste
Review from Tesco
Some gluten free variations are not of the same quality! These are like the normal fish fingers we used to enjoy! Absolutely fantastic. Thank you!
