Preparation and Usage

Cooking instructionsRemove all packaging and allow steaks to rest for 10 minutes at room temperature before cooking.Pan fryHigh/medium - 4-10 minsLightly brush each side of the steaks with a little oil and season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Heat a heavy based frying pan over high heat until smoking. Add steaks to the dry pan and cook over a high heat for 1 minute each side. Reduce heat to medium and continue to cook for a further - 2-4 minutes (rare), 4-6 minutes (medium) or 6-8 minutes (well done), turning once halfway through cooking time. Remove steaks from the pan and allow to rest in a warm place for 3-5 minutes before serving.These instructions are given as a guideline only as steak thickness will vary slightly.CautionAlways wash hands, surfaces and utensils after contact with raw meat.TipTo ensure your steak is more succulent always pre-heat your pan.ImportantTesco recommends that meat products are cooked thoroughly. If cooked rare there is a small risk that harmful bacteria may be present.Not suitable for microwave cooking. Not suitable for cooking from frozen.Important: Remove all packaging before defrosting and cooking
