Disgusting!

I used to really like this, but think the recipe has changed because it smelt and tasted like cooking hearts and livers!
Recipe changed
Review from Tesco
Used to be great. Recipe must have changed recently. They cook differently and now have a fall apart cardboard texture. I very much doubt 96% pork…
The box says 'Pork and herb', so dead right there!

A bit too 'herby' for my taste, thought they would be more like a Lorne sausage but not so. If you like a quite strong sage taste (and aftertaste!) then you will like these, but not for me personally. I'm of the generation that does not like wasting food so gave the rest away to a friend who said he did enjoy them! I'll stick to plain pork in future.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL, IN FACT REVOLTING. NOTHING LIKE THE SCOTTISH LORNE SAUSAGE PATTIES I HAVE BEEN USED TO. NOT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR.
Very Nice

Very tasty patties, will order them when their back.
Recipe must have changed

These have changed. Now they take longer to cook, are full of water and fall apart when you try to pick them up.
I did not enjoy

I love sausages so thought I would give these a try. Not to my taste. I shallow fried 2 and cut a sliver to try before adding to a roll and found them too seasoned for me. Even that small taste repeated on me for a while. The rest was thrown away. Its personal taste so will not be buying again.
Super tasty and cannot fault them. 10/10

I have just had one of these in a small roll. I cooked them in my small griddle pan. There is quite a lot of fat but in a griddle pan it runs off. They were super tasty, bit of a spicy taste but not overly spicy. Put a slice of cheese on and a fried egg. Gone in a flash. Will defo be buying more. Well worth it and suggest they are not cooked in a frying pan. Highly recommend.

here to tell you all these things are addictive if you just learn to cook them properly. I tried them years ago and I don't think they've changed but I decided to give them another go and basically… get your pan hot, swill it out with oil (not too much), worry less about burning the patties, drain the pan halfway thru (cos they release a lot of their own fat)… don't follow the packet times, just go until their lovely and evenly brown on both sides (when they look like mcds basically), trust me, eventually it happens… then, and only then… they are magical… dangerously magical…
Lovely sausage pattie
Review from Tesco
These are great for a breakfast muffin with a slice of cheese on, every bit as nice as a McDonald's, breakfast muffin, not quite understanding negative review as you would not buy them as a replacement for sausages, they are a pattie..
