Description

Château Les Mauberts comes from an estate in the centre of the huge Entre-deux-mers wine-making region. The vines are worked with care and passion to produce wines that are elegant and well-structured. Behind a nice red robe, this wine brings forth a rich, complex nose, with black fruit, spicy and vanilla notes. The palate is harmonious with velvety tannins. Served at 15-16°C the flavours of this wine will fully come through when enjoyed with red meat, poultry, confits.

Château Les Mauberts reveals a beautiful ruby red colour. The nose, complex, develops aromas red fruits (raspberry, redcurrant, blackberry and blackcurrant) spices (cinnamon, liquorice, cloves) and smoked (cocoa, caramel). On the palate, the wine is round, fleshy with silky and well-balanced tannins. Its long and fruity finish with notes of gingerbread, caramel and black pepper

History

Very involved in the management of their estate, the owners maintain the vineyard with a lot of care. To reveal all the great potential of their wines, the cellars were equipped with new material. This investment allows the preservation of the characteristics of each plots and each grape varieties. Thanks to the good balance between tradition and modernity, Château Les Mauberts produces a wine typical and easy to drink.
