Preparation and Usage

These instructions are given as a guideline only as steak thickness will vary slightly.

Caution Always wash hands, surfaces and utnesils throughly after contact with raw meat.

Tip To ensure your steak is more succulent, always pre-heat your pan.

Suitable for freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always by 'use by' date shown. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 24 hours in the fridge. Once defrosted use within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Not suitable for cooking from frozen. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, best within 1 days and by ‘use by’ date shown.

Microwave

Instructions: Not suitable for microwave cooking.

Grill

Instructions: Grill GRILL Medium/High heat 8-19mins. Place steak on a tray in a pre-heated medium/high grill for 8-11 minutes (rare), 12-15 minutes (medium), 16-19 minutes (well done), turning halfway through cooking. Remove from grill and allow to rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Shallow Fry

Instructions: To enjoy your steak at its best, take out of the fridge and remove all packaging 10 minutes before cooking. Rub or brush each side of the steak with frying oil and season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. PAN FRY High/Medium Heat 3-8 mins. Pre-heat a heavy based pan on a high heat until smoking hot and fry the steak for 1 minute on each side to seal in the juices. Reduce to a medium heat and continue to cook for a further 1-2 minutes (rare), 2-4 minutes (medium) or 4-6 minutes (well done), turning halfway through cooking. Remove from pan and allow to rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.
