I see reviews here date back to 2015/16, and they were favourable reviews back then. I think these earlier reviews relate to a different design of glasses back then. Bearing that in mind: I purchased a pair of Tesco’s +2.50’s, maybe 12-18 months ago. Just one pair, used and abused for 6 months at least, before they broke. I think that’s acceptable, given the price. I believe these were the old design. This newer design that replaced them, you can only expect between 6 days to 6 weeks use. As everyone has mentioned, way too fragile where the arms meet the hinges.

I've purchased 4 pairs of these over the last 2 years. They do the job but as other reviewers have stated, the arms break quite easily. A shame the plastic is so brittle. I now take extra care when taking them off and the latest pair(s) have lasted over a year.

Super useless product. Both pairs broke after a couple of months use.
Arm broke off

Arm dropped off a few days after I bought them. The plastic part of the glasses with the holes for the screws is not strong enough. I can’t even use them with one arm now because the spring on the arms makes them lip sided so one lens is closer to the eye.
Great value reading glasses

These glasses are sturdy and have good lenses. They are the best glasses I have ever bought off the shelf and are amazing value.
Can't beat the value at only £6

Seem quite good quality for the price, and also probably more durable than similar priced reading glasses on other online retailer sites.
very pleased

I have been using these glasses for a couple of weeks. I think they are very good. At only £3.00 a pair fantastic value for money.
