Italian Garganega- Pinot Grigio Provincia di Veneto IGT. Product of Italy.Taken from the North East of Italy this wine is created from the Garganega and Pinot Grigio grapes. This blend produces the typical notes of white peaches, elderflower and pear drops which provide a wonderful fresh fruit style. Delicious on its own or to savour with salads, white fish and chicken.

History

On the morainic hills of Lake Garda, the oldest man-made plough was found. It was the Etruscan's in the 5th century BC, who introduced the cultivation of "domesticated" vines, supplanting the wild ones. Some believe however, there is evidence that Lake Garda wine was already well known in the first century and could easily be found in the banquets of the ancient Romans as Rhaetian wine.
