Product Description

A mix of carrots, garden peas, green beans and supersweet sweetcorn.

We work with our growers to select, pick and freeze our vegetables at their prime. Mixed vegetables individually frozen for small or large handfuls as required.

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS: Carrot (35%), Garden Peas (25%), Green Bean, Sweetcorn.

Storage

Important: If food has thawed, do not refreeze. Keep frozen at -18C or cooler.

Cooking Instructions

Microwave from frozen

Instructions: 800W 4 mins / 900W 4 mins
Place into a microwaveable bowl, add 2 -3 teaspoons water (10-15ml) and cover.
Cook on full power for 2 mins (800W) / (900W).
Remove cover and stir.
Re-cover then cook on full power for a further 2 mins (800W) / (900W).
Leave to stand for 1 minute after cooking.
Drain well before serving.

Hob
Instructions: For best results boil from frozen.
Place in a saucepan of boiling water.
Bring back to the boil.
Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
Drain well before serving.

A kilo of healthy veg for a bargain price I reckon..my husband hates mixed veg for some reason, but I really appreciate the convenience of these, such an easy way to add colour and goodness to my plate...

I cook these usually in the microwave and they are delicious added to salads , curry sauce, soup or simply a side veg.. They retain their colour and taste. I took one star off because the pack doesn't say where the veg comes from and I like to buy British.

really good vegetables for use in savoury minces, soups etc. Were good value for money but have gone up a lot in price - also found since they came back in stock the bag is no longer a "re-sealable one" . But cant fault the actual vegetables.
