Preparation and Usage
| Buy your pumpkin in time to carve it, but once carved, it will only last a few days. So only carve 2-5 days before Halloween. When carving, remove as much of the inner soft tissue as possible with a spoon. This will help it last longer. Keep the carved pumpkin as dry as possible. If lighting with a candle or tea light, carve your hole in the bottom. This will prevent the lid from drying out, shrinking and falling inside. |
