Perfectly Unripe !
Review from Tesco
Not 'perfectly ripe', is unripe and hard, as 'perfectly ripe' comes MOST OF THE TIME.

Tesco mangoes are superb, probably the best at this price
No 'ready ripe', but good a week later.
Review from Tesco
I order a 'ready ripe' Mango every week because when ripened they are tasty and juicy, but it takes a week for it to ripen, definitely not ripe when delivered.
Disappointed not nearly ripe
Review from Tesco
I buy these mangos at Tesco often and they were delicious, soft n juicy as they say perfectly ripe. But this week ordered two as good price and they were hard and horrible far from ripe!!!!

Perfectly ripe = rock hard. 6 days later:still not ripe...... Don't call it 'perfectly ripe' to charge a premium when the product clearly isn't!

Surprisingly good if you leave them long enough
Review from Tesco
Not even close to being "Perfectly Ripe". Mangoes are at their best when the skin is starting to go wrinkly but no supermarket in the land is going to sell things that don't look pretty. If you leave these a week or more they are surprisingly good, although nothing compared to in-season Alphonso or Chauncer mangoes, but still full of flavour and sweetness. If you usually throw fruit away when it no longer looks beautiful on the outside, give it a go, just once, leave one until its skin goes a bit wrinkly and then eat it.
Perfectly Unripe and Rock Hard
Review from Tesco
A ripe mango should be green/yellow with a good flush of red. This was green with a hint of yellow and far from ripe. The price was very good, just hope I can ripen this at home before it rots.
