I Stll Drink it.
A Tesco Customer
I always buy Earl grey and Lady grey especially stocking up when the price is low £4. I would rather go without than spend £5-£6, ahh but I'm lying I never go without, on special occasions I make a pot of Supreme Earl grey loose tea from tea makers of London in a special teapot. I agree with other reviews the black tea is too strong, not allowing the beauty of Bergamot to fully come through, just have to be grateful when you actually taste it. Maybe my tast buds are lacking? Twinnings could make a special Earl and Lady Grey EXTRA for US that like Bergamot. Still I prefer it to normal everday tea.

My default tea
A Tesco Customer
The reason I got into Earl Grey was twofold. Firstly, my stomach stopped tolerating coffee of any kind and secondly, visiting cafes, the tea was always too strong. But Earl Grey generally doesn't work that way; it's a fairly reliable choice when out and about. And so it is with Twinings Earl Grey, it hit's the spot every time, if I go on holiday, Twinings goes with me, it's my default refreshing cup of tea.

Not a good flavour tea - the bergamot is very weak - disappointing for Twinings. Will not be buying again.
Bring back Clipper
A Tesco Customer
The bergamont flavour is overpowered by the black tea itself and is disappointingly weak. I tried stewing it a little longer but all I got was the astringent taste of the black tea. Clipper was way better, bring back Clipper Earl Grey!
Bag quality has changed, switching brand
A Tesco Customer
Have been getting these for about a year but the last box I have, almost every set of 2 has ripped open a bag when I've separated them. I've tried being extremely careful and slow with a very deliberate tear but they're just super fragile now. Trying another brand as these I've wasted half the box with loose tea everywhere.
Wonderful taste
A Tesco Customer
Have been drinking this tea since my arrival in the UK 40 years ago, love the generous discount Tesco offers on this. Find it tastes best with evaporated milk, tea bag + the milk, then pour on boiled water. Try it.

The bergamot is overpowered by the strength of the main tea, and gets worse over days once taken out of its sealed bag. Clipper Earl Grey is much better, than this or Tesco finest. Bring back Clipper.
Aromatic and flavoursome
A Tesco Customer
Great quality tea from Twinings, I find this one up lifting, it can take some getting used too if you have not tried it before, but, well worth it, I find it refreshing and uplifting, the aroma is uplifting and taste is just wonderful. Recommend it to anyone.
