More comfortable to use - and easier to get off!
Review from Tesco
Some 6 or 7 weeks ago I had ordered 2 pairs of Tesco own brand rubber gloves which was my normal order. They didn't have any on the day so the pickers substuted with Marigolds, a brand that at the time I would never buy thinking I'm paying for the name. I'm still using pair #1 and they are so much more comfortable to use - and easier to get off - than the own brand. I will coninue to buy Marigolds!
Not good.
Review from Tesco
I've bought these for years, and they have always been great. This last year however, they have been unbelievably poor quality and rip in the most random of places, after little, or no, exertion. I will not buy again.
not as good as they were
Review from Tesco
keep springing holes where they are not likely to be pierced by sharp or pointy items...seems like a poor quality issue
Didn't last long!
Review from Tesco
For years I have been using the BLACK gloves from Tesco which were great but since they stopped selling them I had to buy these and they failed within a week of using with a big hole developing in one finger and not because of anything I washed up! They were comfortable enough. Please bring back the tough black ones!!
I would be lost with these gloves
Review from Tesco
Indispensible - I cannot do without it. I have always bought these gloves and I am my seventies. These gloves last a long time and keep my hands fresh. It is great I use it when I wash up, when I am cleaning round the house, cleaning the car, any jobs outside and gardening. Please do not stop it.
These gloves are amazing!
Review from Tesco
These gloves are amazing! I grabbed them to quickly pull up some nettles in my garden and haven't looked back. I have been using the same pair since April 2020 (now June 2020) to garden, and work on my pond, and they are still going strong. The only downside is my hands sweat when I wear them all day in the garden, but then they're not meant for gardening :) Dear Marigold, please bring out some gardening gloves - simply these, but lined with cotton.

Review from Tesco
These gloves developed a hole within a couple of days. This has happened quite a lot recently. For the price and brand name, better quality expected
These gloves developed a hole in less than a week.

These gloves developed a hole in less than a week. The Tesco own brand last far longer
Marigold changed the material- not good as before
Review from Tesco
I guess Marigold company changed the material...Why? the fabrication cost? European laws? They are still one of the best quality house chores gloves but less resistant than 2 years ago, for example. I bought a kitchen pair 4 years ago that lasted me for ever, then they finally got holes in it and I bought a new pair that just lasted a few months before getting holes at the fold between the thumb and the index finger. The cuff part of the gloves is now of a softer material than the hand part and is constantly folding on itself during washing the dishes...not the best when rinsing and you don't realise that cuff has dropped low on your wrist. It still a good product compared to other house chores glove brands making to thin gloves or in a nightmare material that sticks or reduces in contact with hot water and becomes too tight.
