Cape Wine Exporters was founded by Rollo Gabb and Ben Jordaan in 2017. Previously Ben was head winemaker at Kumala in South Africa - with the Gabb family having created Kumala, and also being behind the Journeys End brand.

Vinification Details
Following an excellent fairly drawn out vintage which provided for complex fruit, the grapes were hand picked at different stages, destemmed and crushed - then fermented at 18-28 degrees in separate batches prior to being blended post fermantation. A minor treatment with oak (staves) for added complexity.

Good aromatics from the Pinotage's red fruit, a tasty mix of berries and cherries. The palate displays a fresh and fruity succulence of berry fruits with hints of oak and good acidity.
