Cape Wine Exporters was founded by Rollo Gabb and Ben Jordaan in 2017. Previously Ben was head winemaker at Kumala in South Africa - with the Gabb family having created Kumala, and also being behind the Journeys End brand.

Vinification Details
The shiraz grapes were destemmed and lightly crushed at 25 balling before being pumped into stainless steel. Temperature of must was kept at 12 degrees for 5 days to prevent spontaneous fermentation. After 5 days the must was inoculated with a number of different yeast strains.

Ruby red in colour with intense red berry fruit on the nose, and a hint of cederwood and spice followed by classic peppery notes on the palate.
