Regional Information

Plots located at an altitude between 300 and 600 meters. The vineyards have the perfect balance to allow harvesting the grapes at its best ripen stage. The low yields per hectare give us the opportunity to obtain a concentrated and aromatic wine.

Vinification Details

Selected, de-stemmed and partially crushed grapes, with a high proportion of full berries. Controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 23 - 26º C. Selected yeasts to get the maximum potential out of the grapes.

History

Although La Rioja is a small region, it has very heterogeneous soils, with a balanced structure, alluvial with composition of sands, silts, clays and boulders and slightly alkaline with active limestone between 7 and 15%.
