This wine opens with aromas of grapefruit, citrus and a subtle hint of lime zest. The refreshing, crisp palate delivers layers of tropical melon, orange blossom and honeysuckle - offering mouthwatering acidity that balances its richly textured finish

Vinification Details

We harvested our Sauvignon Blanc at the optimal sugar levels to showcase the bright citrus character of the variety. Once at the winery, we whole cluster pressed and then fermented slowly at cool temperatures in stainless steel to preserve the distinct floral and fruit notes. After fermenting each lot separately, we selected just the right combination to offer bright, juicy character and crisp acidity - our signature, clean style

Regional Information

The 2017 growing season in California brought record rainfall that replenished dry soils and led to an early bud break. Perfectly timed heat spikes late in the summer helped balance the earlier wet weather. The warmer temperatures kept berry size small and provided intense, concentrated fruit characteristics. The resulting wine is the epitome of California Sauvignon Blanc with well-balanced, expressive fruit notes and firm acidity
