Serves Name of recipe suggestion 1 (Serves 1, Skill Easy) Cheesy Baked Bean Wedges Preparation Time 10 mins / Cook 30 mins Ingredients: 360g potato, cut into 8 wedges, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 80g baked beans, heated 50g Tesco grated British Medium Cheddar. Method: 1. Preheat oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6 2. Place oil onto a baking tray, add potato wedges and shake tray to ensure that they are evenly coated with the oil then cook in the top of the oven for 25-30 mins, turning occasionally, until hot and golden brown. 3. Add the hot baked beans onto the cooked potato wedges and finish with the cheese and serve once melted. To Serve: Eat with Traditional Cumberland sausages. Name of recipe suggestion 2 (Serves 6, Skill Moderate) Cheesy Vegetable Soup. Preparation Time 15-20 mins / Cook 20-25 mins Ingredients: 750ml vegetable stock, 3 potatoes, cubed 75g onions, chopped 65g carrots, chopped 65g celery, finely chopped 150g Tesco grated British Medium Cheddar 125ml skimmed milk Salt and pepper to taste Parsley for garnish Method: 1. In a medium saucepan over a high heat, combine the stock, potatoes, onions, carrots and celery. Bring to the boil and then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 mins or until potatoes are tender. 2. Mash the potato and vegetable mix lightly, add the cheese and milk and continue to cook over a low heat, stirring occasionally , until the cheese melts. 3. Add salt and pepper to taste and garnish with fresh parsley. To Serve: Serve with crusty granary bread, real winter warmers.
