Irish Yogurts Ltd. was established in 1994 by Diarmuid O'Sullivan, with the aim of producing traditional churn-made yogurts. Located in Clonakilty, West Cork, Irish Yogurts employs 128 full-time staff.

The company began supplying Tesco Ireland stores in 1998, with its own-brand of products.

Recently, Irish Yogurts signed a deal with Tesco to produce 13 new Tesco own-label yogurt products, including 5 Tesco Finest* yogurts, which were previously produced by a company in the UK. Irish Yogurts' products are of the finest quality, made using the best ingredients.
