Glenisk's manufacturing facility in Killeigh, Co. Offaly was originally built in 1987 adjacent to the Cleary Family Farm. The plant was entirely rebuilt in 2007 to an enviromentally friendly specification, utilising as many renewable materials as possible. The plant is powered using Airtricity's renewable energy, with power also supplemented by our own wind turbine on site. The turbine also powers our reed beds that are used for waste water management. Our plant is BRC accredited, Grade A. The company continues to invest in the facility each year, not only to maintain excellent standards of quality but also to introduce new facilities to improve and enhance production. A team of 25 trained yogurt makers operate the manufacturing facility, each with specialist training that combines the knowledge of the traditional artisan craft of yogurt making, with state of the art technology and unrivalled quality systems, to create the best possible product. Milk for the Tesco Finest Range is sourced exclusively from the Cleary Family Farm, situated just outside Tullamore, in the lush pasteures of Ireland's agriculture heartland. The farm, which has been in the family for three generations, operates best practice farming methods, to produce consistently high quality, fresh and creamy milk.
