The story behind Kühne started as far back as 1722 when Johann Daniel Epinius founded a small vinegar distillery. This was later taken over by the Kühne family who, in 1832, became the first vinegar producers in Germany to introduce a revolutionary quick brewing process enabling them to transform a craftsman’s business into a high-class manufacturing company.
