We have become aware that the Tesco name is being used in what may be a computer scam. Consumers are being contacted by email and invited to access a Tesco survey and win a €50 gift voucher. Recipients are then asked to provide personal details about their home address, date of birth and credit card information.

Please be advised that Tesco Ireland is not involved in any such survey and would never ask for consumer details in this way. Should you be contacted for any such survey, please report it to the Gardai Helpline on 01 666 0000 or Gardai Fraud office 01 666 3776.
