Collect Clubcard points
The Tesco Clubcard Credit Card is a great way to collect Clubcard points fast. You'll collect 50% more points at Tesco whenever you use your Tesco Clubcard Credit Card instead of cash or cheques - that’s a total of 3 Clubcard Points for every €2 you spend!
What’s more, you’ll also collect 1 point for every €2 you spend anywhere you use your card in over 21 million Visa locations worldwide. At the end of each quarter Tesco will send you Clubcard vouchers for:
- the points you’ve collected in-store
- the extra points you’ve collected when you used your Clubcard Credit Card

Where can you spend your vouchers?
Your vouchers can be used in a number of different ways:
- In-store to save on your Tesco purchases
- On Clubcard Deals - where you’ll get up to 4 times their value in Deals. These can be used for magazine subscriptions, dining out, hotel stays and much more.
Card Protection from Fraud
We want your Tesco Clubcard Credit Card to be safe and secure just as much as you do.
That's why it's guarded by our credit card built-in protection systems - Fraudsafe and Tesco Secure - to help combat credit card fraud, to help make your card safer.
Withdraw cash at ATMs
You can use your Tesco Clubcard Credit Card to withdraw cash at any cash machines displaying the Visa symbol worldwide, subject to a 1.5% fee (min €1.90). The interest rate for cash advances is 16.7% (variable). You’ll need to use your PIN (Personal Identification Number). If you want, you can change your PIN at any cash machine. Do not share your PIN number with anyone.
Additional card holder
You can request an additional Tesco Clubcard Credit Card for your partner or another adult family member. Your statement will show their purchases but you will remain responsible for payment of all transactions.
The Tesco Internet guarantee
With a Tesco Clubcard Credit Card you can shop online with confidence. We guarantee to cover you against fraudulent transactions carried out without your consent when you use your card at Tesco.ie or anywhere else on the Internet.
Chip and pin
Tesco has joined forces with the Irish banks, building societies and other retailers to combat increasing credit card fraud. Instead of signing your name on the receipt, you will be asked to enter a 4-digit PIN on the keypad. This means only you the cardholder who knows your PIN number for your card will be able to authorise purchases made on your card - Do not share your PIN number with anyone.
Optional CPP Card Protection
CPP Card Protection covers you and up to 4 other people in your household. It insures and protects all your cards, including membership cards, with up to €85,000 from fraudulent use due to loss or theft. One call to CPP free from anywhere in the world within 24 hours of discovering your cards are missing will cancel your cards and ensure replacements are ordered for you. Plus, you are covered for lost cash, emergency cash advances and so much more. Protect your household from card fraud as a result of loss or theft for just €40 for one year, or €85 for three years. Card Protection is provided by Homecare Insurance Limited.

Optional Cardholder Payment Protection
If you ever worry about how you’d keep up with your repayments should you become sick or lose your job, Cardholder Payment Protection will ease your mind. With it the policy will take care of your minimum monthly repayments for up to 12 months if illness or unemployment means you can't.
The cost is just €0.72 for every €100 of your outstanding balance. So, if your outstanding balance is €400 you’ll pay €2.88. But, if you have no outstanding balance, there’s no charge at all, which means you’re only paying for the protection you need. To apply, simply complete the Cardholder Payment Protection section of the application. And please remember if you change your mind you can cancel it within 30 days and it won’t cost you a cent. Cardholder Payment Protection is provided by Pinnacle Insurance plc.

If our FraudSafe specialists become suspicious that someone is using your card details without your knowledge, we will call you as soon as possible on the contact numbers you have given us.
Lost or Stolen Cards
If you think your card has been lost or stolen, or even lost while you're abroad, you should notify us straightaway by telephoning 1 800 555 743 from within ROI or call us on +44 1423 700 545 (please reverse the charges).
