Leopardstown Racecourse was completed in 1888 and was built by Captain George Quin, having been modelled on Sandown Racecourse in England.

The roll of both equine and human legends which have thrilled Leopardstown racegoers over the years is infinite. The Leopardstown Hall of Fame honours many of those who have rightly earned their place in the history of Irish racing including Dr. M.V.
