Visit one of Ireland’s premier visitor attractions and explore two wonderful experiences – the acclaimed 15th Century Bunratty castle and the 19th century Bunratty Folk Park.

The castle built in 1425 is the most authentic medieval fortresses in Ireland. Now restored to its former glory it contains mainly 15th and 16th century furnishings, tapestries and works of art which capture the mood of the times.

Bunratty Folk Park vividly recreates 19th Irish Life and features over 30 urban and rural settlements from the time.

You can go and meet the village characters such as the schoolteacher, policeman and Bean an Ti and see how traditional bread and butter was made in the farmhouses. Step into Macs Pub or the tea rooms and savour the taste of homemade scones, pies and breads or wander around the 26 acres and meet the friendly village animals.
